Low-Mar

Low-Mar is a whole house remodel that I did while working at Method Construction. The house was demoed to the studs, extensive structural upgrades were required, including new point-load post and beams. The North wall of windows on the basement is essentially new framing, and the upper wall of windows was also repaired, with the siding removed and all new WRB and siding installed. The lower living area has radiant concrete floors, the upper living area has all new hardwoods. All plumbing, electrical, and HVAC is new. The roof was reinforced with cold-rolled steel beams added to every roof joist, and a new roofing system installed. The steel beams added quite a challenge to laying out the lights, which needed to fit within the coffered ceiling. Plumbing was done by Parker Services. Kemly Electric re-wired the house, including two main panels, and future wiring for the boat slip. McIntosh Glass supplied all the new IGU panels as well as glass for the showers and stair railings.
